Addington Co.

With a love of traditional methods, Chip Addington crafts bags with a modern twist. We spent a few days shooting with him, following his process to create waxed nylon bags.

Chip's work space is a photographer's dream, with big windows filling the room with soft natural light. We shot a lot of tight details to highlight the level of care and precision that goes into each bag he makes.

The Snow Makers

the_snow_makers_Blog.jpg

At ski areas like Welch Village a dedicated team plays Mother Nature every fall/early winter. When the temps are right these folks go out in the freezing cold to make snow for skiers and snowboarders to enjoy all winter long. People like Perry Eisert are the unsung heroes who make winter happen even if the skies don't make enough snow.

We spent two days working with the gang at Welch following them around the frozen hills getting blasted with water and snow. We shot with our new camera the Canon C200 which shoots beautiful 4k RAW video as well as a Canon 5dkmiv for 2nd angles. These cameras and lenses are tough and held up well in the harsh conditions.

Next time you are out at your local ski hill be sure to thank the snow makers for all their cold hard work.

Amy Imdieke Hooping

Sometimes you need to go and shoot just for the joy of it, this is one of those projects. Amy Imdieke is a Senior Graphic Designer in Minneapolis. Out side of her day job she is a member of the hula hooping dance troupe known as the Twistin Vixens.

Amy's skills with the hoop is a site to behold. As Amy did her thing we followed along with her capturing the movements. Her diverse bag of tricks in the end shined throughout the project.
