We sat down with The Workbook team earlier this year and shared a few stories about our journey into the world of still and motion photography. Featuring a few of our favorite personal projects, The Workbook’s interview also touches on our hope to have more similar work in the future.

This past September we shot a campaign for Land O’Lakes and United Way. Land O’Lakes gives employees time off to go and volunteer at a charity or organization of their choice. We spent two days capturing video and stills of the people who volunteer and those who are on the receiving end as well. We utilized a 16 Quasar tube light ladder to give us a big soft light source that was ideal for both stills and motion. By the end of the shoot we had video assets as well as a small image library of authentic emotional portraits for the client to use all over the Land O’Lakes Campus.

With a love of traditional methods, Chip Addington crafts bags with a modern twist. We spent a few days shooting with him, following his process to create waxed nylon bags.
Chip's work space is a photographer's dream, with big windows filling the room with soft natural light. We shot a lot of tight details to highlight the level of care and precision that goes into each bag he makes.
