Last winter I got a call from Powder Magazine about photographing for an article about street skiing. Their request was to capture more of the setup and work that goes into setting up a feature as well as action shots.
There is a ton of work that goes into setting up a feature. Typically between 45 minutes up to a few hours, all while hoping that you don't get busted by security or the cops. We lucked out with great warm weather which is helpful since the snow is easier to build with. We ended up with a handful of images, two of which ran in the magazine.
